History

Born and raised in the south-western frontier of Dublin city where the shopping centres meet the mountains. Colin honed his early artistic skills in the monastery of St. Kilians where he studied ecclesiastical art and first learnt the principles of geometry and theology, which continue to inform his work to this day.

Further education in various monasteries and universities of the Irish capital followed, an encompassing subjects from the principles of engineering to the basis of latin and of course the principles of art. Despite the renassaince flavour of this training the dedication to the medieval priciples of his early youth continued to prevail.

In the early 21st century Colin took his brand of chivalric code to the heart of the industrial revolution, the commercial hub of Birmingham, UK. A spell in the Americas introduced him to the new skills of copperplate etching, the geometric and physical dictates of which suited his scholastic mindset.

He is currently located back in Birmingham where the Pythagorean crusade continues. Colin is available spread the principles of Geometry and Theology via several media : through the manipulation of light, material, garments or through mentoring. See below for examples of his work and get in contact if you are interested.
